Tuesday Night Treats

Some days you just spend dreaming of the moment you can shrug on your fluffy robe, your most awful slippers and relax under a deep cleansing facemask!

Today, well today was that day for me. It's been a tough week to say the least, and a long time since I got to loaf with a good book and a nice treatment on my skin! But now the tough week is done, my worries more or less over and so I could justify taking the time to just, veg out!

I used this Skin Treats mask that I've been toting around in my handbag for at least a week or more at this point! It's been full on taunting me with the promise of worry melting, skin calming goodness!

I'm always battling with my painfully concentrated sex appeal! Just look at that face! Mmmmmh!

So I slathered this pale blue, minty goop all over my face and left it to set. It was tingly and cooling, leaving my skin feeling like it was being recharged!

After it set, and my face was damn near rigid under the thick layer I piled on, I ran the tap til the chill went off it and gently scrubbed the product away with my Body Shop Facial Brush. I splashed clean water over my entire face to remove any residue and patted my face dry.

I followed my face-mask with a lip scrub and a layer of my Balmi lip-balm, topping it off with my Elemis Softly Softly moisturiser! The perfect end to a perfect hour...

Everybody needs a treat! What's your go to way to relax? What's your favourite face mask?

June BBC Day 11: A Bargain Buy You Would Recommend

Today I get to recommend bargain buys! This is what I'm good at, so strap in, it's gonna be a wild ride... In quite a gentle way, really!

Boots Natural Collection Moisture Shine Lipstick - Crimson
It saddens me to think that nobody willingly admits to owning these! I know plenty of people who dig their foundation, their powders, blush, every other part of the range, but overlook these beauties! At €3.09 a go, they are cheap as chips, and they're so comfy on! They have a cream finish, too! I am slowly accumulating a decent collection of lipsticks and these guys started the trend!

NYC Colour Expert Last Nail Polish - Bubblegum

I eyeballed this color every time I saw it for weeks until I finally bought it! €1.99 in Penneys hardly broke the bank, but it was more a stance on the amount of polish I had been buying in the lead up to my investment in this one! I had to be alone to get this one, because I had been with people who stopped me every time I tried to buy it in their company! It lasts pretty well, needing only two coats for opacity! Bargain polishes are good quality when you give them a chance!

Skin Wisdom Youth Protect Facial Wipes

I've spoken about these before, but I will just recommend these again because I can! These babies are 1.69 in Tesco and they rule!!! They take off every trace of mascara, and they don't irritate my face, which is super sensitive! I really can't say enough about these wipes only that you should try them! They're the bomb diggity!

What bargain buys do you recommend? What would you try from my 3 picks? Do you use budget brands? If not, why don't you dive in, and give these 3 products a try?
